Nationalism Speech

Assalamu'allaikum wr.wb

Good morning all, to my teachers who I respect to and my friends who I love, Firstly I will say thanks for god because with all the grace and blessing, at this moment we can meet in a health and happy condition. Now I will deliver the speech with the theme of "IMPLANTING NATIONALISM BY STUDYING"

Nationalism should be implanted in every young generation and every Indonesians, especially, in student like us. This is spirit that should infect the heartstrings of every human being in Indonesia. The spirit that can defeat the colonialism together with the echo of struggle to reach the independence, is still inherited, although the enemies will no longer show up as the colonizer. However, spirit to reach the independence is still aspiration of all nations of this country.

           Since nationalism is essential, therefore, let us instill this sense. Then how do we instill the nationalism? There are many way to express nationalism, one of them is Studying Studying is the most important key to embody the spirit of nationalism in us. Many subjects can reveal this nationalism.

For example:

            1. English

English language is an essential subject to be mastered by students like us. As a excellent young generation, through the smoothness and activeness in the English language, we can show the world that Indonesia has the nation's children who are intelligent, has a variety of interesting cultural property, and it is a great nation that can unite despite diversities in us.

2. Civics

This subject discusses many life of the nation. For example Pancasila, Pancasila is the form of nationalism in Indonesia. It is the state basis, on which all races, religions, and other diversities in Indonesia stand. Pancasila is the reason we can be like now, uniting in many diversities be one association, Indonesia nation.

3. History

History is one subject that studies important past events and is able to influence the next life. By studying the history, we can track back to see how this country was formed and see the hard struggle of heroes to seize the sovereignty of this country, regardless of property, even lives as well. Based this, our nationalism is burning increasingly to maintains Indonesia unchanged. So, there are no colonizer occupied as the past again.

4. Art and Culture

It was already known that this beloved country, Indonesia has many varied and interesting cultures. These cultures were admired by many people from within the country to the overseas. Thus, by learning culture of Indonesia, meaning that we have preserved the culture and even developed a sense of nationalism.

To tell the truth, it is important for us to be active and diligent in learning all subjects in school. By this way, students like us can be intelligent so as to promote Indonesia in order not to be left behind other nations in the world. Therefore, please take pride to be a citizen of Indonesia and guard this beloved country.
